LATEST PROJECT: Sequoia Park Zoo Sky Walk
For a long time Synergo has been dreaming of ways to give more people more access to our tree-based installations. In early 2019 we were contacted by Greenway Partners on behalf of the Sequoia Park Zoo in Eureka, CA with a fascinating concept—“How can we create an ADA accessible system of interconnected bridges at height to showcase a grove of old-growth redwoods located behind the current Zoo?”
A year later, after many hours collaborating with Zoo exhibition teams, arborists, engineers, and the local community, the dream is almost complete. With tree-based bridges and ADA accessibility, people can access these living treasures in a way most people have only ever dreamed of.
